Binbougami ga! First Impressions

The prospect of picking this anime up was unlikely; I wasn't a fan of Sunrise, mainly because I never really fancied animes that happened to be animated by them. The only anime that I did enjoy during my childhood was the Gundam Seed series (I was a fan of mechas at that point of time). I picked this anime up on a whim, hoping that it would not turn out to be a boring one and to my surprise, I was laughing all the way to the bank with this one.



The fact that it's a shoujo anime makes the show even more daunting to watch. Hardly any one of them turn out well. However, the comedy factor in this anime made me laugh so hard that you can forget the fact that it even was a shoujo anime. The characters themselves develop a ton of laughs and with every character introduced in this anime, it just keeps the comedy flowing.

However, with comedy comes drama. Nothing's good without some drama. Sakura's not as fortunate as you'd think she is, at least not in the past. There seems to be a sudden shift from a funny moment to a serious one, which takes some time to adjust to in certain moments.

If you think that you haven't had a good feel of comedy in anime, this would be the one to watch!
