Ichiko's arrogance really ticked some of the girls in the class that they turned to rape in an attempt to scar Ichiko for life and know her place. Fortunately, Rindou was tipped off by Momiji about their plans and being the caring tomboy that she is, thwarted their plans before the horror could be carried out. The situation took a turn for the worse, however, when the part of the old school building where the lot were in collapsed on top of them. Rindou manages to prevent a total cave-in, but she had found herself in a pretty bad shape. Due to that, she knew that she could not hold out for much longer and yelled at everyone to get away from the debris.

Ichiko was soon encouraged to help Rindou get out of the mess, but she had other ideas. Momiji then manages to convince Ichiko to do so by drawing out a portion of Ichiko's fortune to save Rindou.

Ichiko soon opens up to Rindou about her problems in the past that led to her then egoistic attitude. It took more than words for her to accept what happened in the past. Rindou's near death experience triggered Ichiko to give in to Rindou, as Ichiko did not want to suffer as much as she did last time.

In the ninth episode, Momiji and Ichiko go at it again trying to settle their disputes in a tennis match-up in the first half of the anime, involving two professional male tennis players in the mix. What was supposed to be a doubles tennis match turned into a heated battle between Momiji and Ichiko. If Momiji were to lose, she would have to agree to the wager by leaving Ichiko. As for Ichiko, her loss would result in having her enormous amount of fortune being taken away, prior to Momiji's mission. In the end, the fierce competition ended up in a stalemate after both girls turned to using their spiritual powers to try and turn things in their favor. As for Nadeshiko, the purple-haired girl who has the hairstyle similar to Madoka Magica's Mami made a clearer appearance this time, portraying as the relative of Adenokouji Shion. It is highly probable that they are siblings, given their similar family names and the age differences, if there was any.

The second half of the anime brings forward the first half of the episode completely, though it did not look that clear to me until the characters mentioned about their match up which was still on. Ichiko finally made an attempt to whip up one or two meals after Suwano, her former butler, advised her to try to cook her own food for herself at home and not depend on takeouts all the time. A new side character, Kuroyuri, appears and is sent in for reconnaissance over Momiji's progress in drawing out fortune from Ichiko. However, her purpose of going there was not to help Momiji, rather have all the glory to herself. Seeing how Ichiko was struggling with her cooking, Momiji proposed having another competition to settle the score over the stalemate that they had in the tennis match. Momiji clearly showed her superiority in her cooking with how her meal looked. Ichiko lived up to her expectations, producing a horrid looking meat and potato stew. Kuroyuri was forced into trying out Ichiko's meal and was not even spared to try Momiji's after having a scoop. In the end, the victor could not be decided as Kuroyuri disappeared back to her realm, unable to bear Ichiko's horrible cooking. This leaves the battle still hanging and that might stay that way throughout, as the outcome has never been so likely in Binbougami ga!
