Happy 29th Birthday to Kana Asumi!

A big Happy Birthday to Japanese anime voice actress, Kana Asumi! Well, technically it was yesterday, but since Japan is in the future and we are in the past, we will celebrate it today. Kana Asumi, real name is Kana Harada, was born on August 12, 1983 and has been in voicing animes since 2005. Kana got her first lead role in 2007 as Yuno in Hidamari Sketch. My favorite Kana Asumi role has be Popura Taneshima of Working!. But, recently we were treated to quite possibly her best role in her career as Nyaruko in Haiyore! Nyaruko-san.

I thought this picture of Kana in a cat suit was pretty funny. I'm not sure if she was cosplaying it for Amagami SS or if it was her just having fun.

I also found this picture of Kana in a yukata. I always say, a Japanese woman always looks her best in a yukata.

In these videos, the staff tells Kana to draw some stuff on her blank boards with a marker. Kana then shows off her drawings to them and then seems to be embarrassed as she tries to explain what it is she drew. I'm guessing she got it wrong on some of them. Sorry I don't really know Japanese to actually tell you what exactly she is suppose to draw, but I still think its cute and funny how she reacts to each one. There are four parts to it and I don't think you really need subtitles to understand them.
