Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne! Episode 1 - First Impressions

Just when I thought I've seen everything I need to know about brother complex and sister complex "my sister can't be this _________" shows, this show with a humongous name pops up out of nowhere. Being a fan of these types of shows, I couldn't help but to take a look at what this never-ending name show had to offer.

My god, that was probably one of the worst decisions I've made in my life. Everything in this show literally made me cringe. It was just that bad. A terribly transparent, lifeless storyline with an equally terrible animation quality, this show has absolutely no direction and is most likely headed absolutely nowhere. Even the fanservice is pretty lacklustre. I for one, certainly did not enjoy a single bit of this show. Everything was so ridiculously forced that it hurt to watch. The only thing worth mentioning is Himenokouji Akiko, the imouto of the show, is voiced by Kido Ibuki, who has to be Sato Satomi's long lost sister, with their nearly identical voices. I will say, for a 15-year-old girl, having a lead role as her first position, props to her for doing such a solid performance. I'd continue watching this show just to see how she does! The world needs more young voice actors with lots of potential like her.

Unless you're a fan of heavily overdone onii-chan shows, it's probably a good idea to not waste your time with OniAni.
