Toyota has teamed up with the fictional Gundam corporation Zeonic to bring a special edition of their popular Auris hatchback to market before the end of the year.

More information is available on the Toyota Zeonic website as well as their Facebook page, which allow users to take part as virtual employees and stay in rooms at the Hotel Grand Pacific Le Daiba Room-G Special Type, a Gundam-themed hotel with Earth Federation and Zeon hotel rooms.

On the exterior, the standard Auris receives Modellista bodywork, a special blade antenna inspired by the head antenna from Char's Zaku II mobile suit, special stacked exhaust outlets, hood ducts, Zeon emblems and Gundam-related decals all around, lowering springs, 18-inch Modellista wheels with Zeon emblems, matte red wrap, matte black roof wrap, and other small miscellaneous modifications.

On the interior, the Auris receives a custom steering wheel, colour-matched shift boot, colour-matched interior trim, with a custom black instrumental panel and door trim colour, as well as Zeon emblems on the steering wheel and the push-start ignition with aluminum pedals.

The Auris Zeonic will be sold at Netz dealerships, allowing customers to test drive the Auris and receive a limited edition cushion.
