  1. Tie between Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky.

  2. Either Spirited Away or Grave of the Firefly's.

  3. I love all of Miyasaki's movies, ALL OF THEM. It wouldn't be fair to just pick one. Each one of them is very special for many different reason. Nausica has remarkable background score, Castle in the sky is visiually fantastic, My Neighbor Totoro is very special to me for personal reason, it got me closer to my older brother, Kiki's Delivery Service's ending was just so MIND BLOWING, I didn't expect that kind of ending, the story telling is just perfect, Only Yesterday is very special for me as well, and the ending was so beautifully done, almost everyone can relate to the factor that our past is constantly hunting us, our inner child can save us, Porco Rosso was so warm and familiar to me, I'm half italian, my grandfather love the movie because he was a pilot, the texture of the movie is great, I SIMPLY LOVE MIYASAKI'S ART WORK.!!!! Thanks to Walt Disney and Hayao Miyazaki's movies, got my brother and I closer than I ever would've thought.

  4. all the movies are great, but i loved future boy conan, i know its not a movie but rawr!

    see you in space cowboy

  5. Laputa Castle in the sky

  6. Spirited Away, it's just so unique and actually brought me out of a weird funk and back into the artistic world and out of the alienation that I felt when that little warm feeling for something you want to be nerdy about, but are afraid of rejection came around.

  7. It's a tie between Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and Kiki's Delivery Service.

Spirited Away, as it's the very first Miyazaki/Ghibli movie I saw, when I was about 13. Its story was very inspiring to me; I always had dreams of suddenly finding myself in another world.

Howl's Moving Castle was a fantastical, yet very heartwarming portrayal of love and magic. :) The original book by Diana Wynn-Jones was also great, but I actually prefer Ghibli's adaptation of it! I saw it when I was about 18/19, and it reassured me that true love is out there, even if it's in the most unlikely person!

Kiki's Delivery Service. Oh, man. I first saw this sometime during high school, and I keep going back to it over and over again. Kiki's journey of independence, her artist friend going through art block and finding inspiration in the forest, the absolutely wonderful places and characters... It's just perfect. :3 Simple, yet perfect.

  8. Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke) <3

  9. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

  10. While all of the movies I've seen from Ghibli so far (I haven't seen them all yet) are amazing...
Favorite would have to be Princess Mononoke. :)

  11. My Neighbor Totoro :)
It has been my favorite movie since my Dad rented it for me when I was a little kid. I've only seen the movie about three times because I want it to remain special and magical!

  12. It is difficult to choose between Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away, but Spirited Away is my favourite Studio Ghibli movie!
