Things are getting quite busy this year—the holiday gift buying and seasonal nuances only seem to make things more hectic (I mean Christmas cheer!! Pardon my 'scrooginess'). To make matters even more perplexing, Ika Musume is currently dead-set in the middle of summer, making me feel like I should somehow be out swimming despite the frigid temperatures. Anyhow, the overall bustle has forced my hand yet again into the realm of brevity, and now paired episode 'roundups'. Of course, it's not all bad, we're seeing some great progress in terms of specific character development (I know, why are we talking character development when it's already season 2?) especially with my personal favorite female lead (heroine), Aizawa Eiko. And to give her (and others) proper coverage before seasons end, this actually appears to be the proper way to do things.

I apologize for holding off on this week's review until today, as I realize you'll all most likely be too busy watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade (US viewers), playing turkey-related board games with your relatives (US viewers) and/or stuffing your faces with turkey (US viewers :)—not to mention the episode has little to do with food. Hi there guys, it's Jon from Otakool Story, Bro and it's been a while. I guess this post is sort of a check in, we're still alive kind of thing, and an apology.

So I could just write a whole post basically saying how fucking hectic life is, how work and trying to find a place to move out too for me, and Uni work for Sean, are cruel mistresses. Especially when sandwiched between social calendars and the like. Or the fact that I've barely had time to watch anime let alone write about it.

But no one really cares about that, so let's just get down to the stuff that matters, and what we're doing about it.

Probably the biggest reason, on my end at least, for the lack of reviews which we do whole heartedly apologise for, is down to one simple thing, lethargy.
